The Biography Of Gabriel Grant
Gabriel Julian Grant was born on April 20, 1982, to Michael Grant and Julia Foster. Michael and Julia were never married, though Michael proposed several times, before and after Gabriel's birth. They were in love, once upon a time, but Julia feared she'd never fit into Michael's world, and it didn't help that she had a massive addiction to sex. She had been known to have affairs with multiple men, all at the same time, and could not seem to control her cravings. She had an appetite for rich, powerful men, and as a high-profile Metropolis lawyer, Michael fell right into that category.
During his childhood, Gabriel felt very alone. His parents were loving, yet he never saw much of either of them. He spent only the weekends with his father in Metropolis, and spent the rest of the week with his mother in Grandville, which was nearly a good four hours away from Metropolis. His mother was always either out working, or spending time with random men, and because of this, in some ways, Gabriel raised himself. He got himself up for school early, successfully completed his homework every night, and studied by himself for a few hours every day. On the weekends, his father would take a bit of time to study with him, and take him to the theatre, but he was usually so busy with cases, he'd end up holed up in his office most of the weekend. Gabriel ended up watching the news for hours at a time, while alone, or with his father. His father always told him that those who delivered the news were some of "the most important people in the world", and Gabriel took it to heart. At the age of seven, he started reading the morning paper, and eventually gained an particular interest in the sports section.
